Definitely worth the wait!!! Doesn't take reservations, but the wait wasn't too long... 10 -20 mins. We did the afternoon tea. Price was very reasonable especially for the amount they give. Food was delicious especially the scones!!! There was so much food we had to bring some home. Service was excellent and the inside of the restaurant was cute.

Loved loved loved this tea room!! Directly across the street from Buckingham Palace and no reservations taken so it's first come, first served. We did a little bit of touring around London and then arrived for a tea and scone by 11:30 and it was still pretty quiet and we were able to get a table right away. Beautiful little tea room with lots of decor that hints at its English origin. Staff were very helpful and friendly - only complaint is that the WiFi is not available to customers. As a foreigner trying not to "roam" I count on WiFi access at tea and coffee shops to provide a few minutes to connect with family back home. I enjoyed a plain scone with clotted cream and jam and a pot of earl grey tea - my favorite. Highly recommend and would definitely return,

What a great little spot! We went for breakfast before a day of sight seeing. Cute decor, fun teacups, great food! We had the full English breakfast and i was glad the kids got to try it. Others had breakfast baps and enjoyed them. Yummy coffee and tea, kind service, walking distance from buckingham. Kids LOVED the hot chocolate! Definitely recommend if youre in the area!

Delicious breakfast with excellent service. Next time we'll go for afternoon tea. All the positive reviews are true

We came here one afternoon a couple of days ago so we could experience English Afternoon Tea on our first trip to London and the UK. It was my husband, my teenage daughter, and me and we had to wait about 20 minutes or so in the line to get in. It was around 12:30 or 1:00. Inside is small and quaint. The service was quick and friendly. We ordered afternoon tea for 3, but really should have only gotten it for 2 and ordered an extra tea. We left very full, and didn't eat all of the items. Our favorites were the beef sandwich and the vanilla scones with strawberries and cream. We were disappointed that we didn't get the chocolate cake or the pink cake, and the sandwich bread was a little dry, but overall, it was worth the $30/pp cost instead of the &100 prices I'd seen other places!

I came in by myself for afternoon tea and this place met all my expectations. I looked at a few locations nearby but they were 100+ pounds but this place was only 30 pounds for the traditional afternoon tea experience and I added a glass of Prosecco for 7.50 pounds. I do not eat beef, pork or fish and the servers were super accommodating. I had the vegetarian option and the mini sandwiches were delicious. If I ever come back to London I will definitely come back to this same place. It's also an 8 minute walk from Buckingham Palace.

I found the English rose cafe and tea near my hotel. I love having afternoon tea and it's a must for me while in London. I opted for a non expensive afternoon tea experience this time. Had no regrets. My first experience was pricey and not great. It's a little quaint and cozy cafe. I loved the decor. I did tea for one. I had a berry tea and a tower of light bites. It was a lot for me cause I barely finished everything. Came with 3 sandwiches, 3 pastries and a scone. The pastries were on the pretty sweet side. I loved my sandwiches and the scone. I miss the scones here actually. The bathroom is downstairs. They have phone charging stations where I was sitting which was nice if you are on the go and need to charge. The service was nice. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

We were lucky to find an affordable place to try for our very first high tea experience, and the wait was not long at all. The place is quaint and cute inside. The service was very friendly and we were served quickly. I really enjoyed the scones with clotted cream and jam! I found the orange cake pretty good too. Only weird thing was that Scott found some weird, gelatinous substance in his coffee and by the time he had discovered it, he was nearly done. Gave us the heeby jeebies and we still don't know what it was!
